Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Consumer Goods, Financials and Healthcare sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 2.06%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb), which rose 4.41% or 3.34 points to trade at 79.10 at the close. Meanwhile, Danske Bank A/S (CSE:DANSKE) added 3.93% or 6.25 points to end at 165.20 and ISS A/S (CSE:ISS) was up 3.82% or 4.20 points to 114.20 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA), which fell 1.53% or 11.20 points to trade at 718.80 at the close. Carlsberg A/S B (CSE:CARLb) added 0.30% or 2.80 points to end at 946.00 and Demant A/S (CSE:DEMANT) was up 0.62% or 1.90 points to 307.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 99 to 48 and 16 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for November delivery was up 0.13% or 0.12 to $90.60 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 0.06% or 0.06 to hit $94.28 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.59% or 11.55 to trade at $1,965.25 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.37% to 6.95, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.01% to 7.45.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.32% at 104.49.
