Issues of developing cooperation between the Prosecutor General’s Offices of Tajikistan and Russia were discussed yesterday in Moscow.
The Prosecutor General of the Republic of Tajikistan Yusuf Rahmon met with the Prosecutor General of the Russian Federation Igor Krasnov.
During the meeting, issues of cooperation between the departments of the two countries on international criminal prosecution, ensuring the safety of citizens, observing their rights and freedoms were discussed.
The parties also noted the effectiveness of cooperation in countering terrorism and extremism.
An exchange of views took place on the issue of training young specialists through the prosecutor’s office and improving their qualifications, the Embassy of the Republic of Tatarstan in the Russian Federation reports.
The parties also discussed the upcoming meeting of experts from the two countries on combating illegal migration and human trafficking, according to the Prosecutor General’s Office of the Russian Federation.
